Intermediate. For students who already know how to throw a cylinder

Learn how to throw with more intermediate/advanced throwing and glazing techniques

Includes a 25lb bag of clay, glazes, firing, & 10 hrs open studio time to practice what you learn independently

Ice cream celebration at the end of the course, (vegan options available)

Ages 18+ (Teens 16–17 may enroll only with a registered 18+ parent/guardian taking the course with them, and must be accompanied during open studio.)

6-week course, 3-hours per week

For students who want to better understand how glazes work and gain more control over their finished results

Learn the fundamentals of glaze chemistry, including what glazes are made of, how ingredients affect results, and how to mix your own glazes from raw materials

Create and test multiple glaze samples using test tiles

Includes basic raw glaze materials, firing, 25lb bag of clay, & 10 hrs open studio time to practice and experiment independently. (Students must provide their own respirator.)
